Nurture your beautiful body and growing baby through conscious movement and meditation while you bond with your little miracle.
Build strength and flexibility appropriate for each stage of pregnancy. Explore breathing and meditation techniques to guide you through your birthing experience
This class will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort. You may feel relief from discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica. This class allows you to freely discuss any issues, from discomforts and concerns, to the wonderful new changes your body and baby are experiencing.

Dates: Mondays from 6 – 7 pm – Start date to be determined

One Day Prenatal Crash Course

- Review of pregnancy & growth of fetus
- Process of labour, positions during labour, delivery, timing of contractions & when to go to the hospital

Part two:
- Discussion of c-sections, pre-term deliveries, recap stages of labour, breathing & relaxation, & delivery process
- Composing your own birth plan

Part three:
- Recap of the normal labour process & identification of coping options
- Postnatal period for mom, baby and new family unit
- Overview of baby blues, postpartum depression and available resources

Sign, Sing & Fabulous Fun Class

These classes are 4 weeks in length (45 minutes) where you will learn 15+ ASL signs per week!! The purpose of this course is to focus on a child’s love of singing, dancing and listening to music! This class has been developed for older toddlers and preschoolers; however younger children are more than welcome to join this great music driven class! In the Sign, Sing & Fabulous Fun class we learn how to sign the key words in each song, play games, read books, review signs and have a fun fabulous craft to help with our weekly learning! Most importantly, we will laugh and have fun together as we explore our world as signing parents and children.

Baby Sign Language Classes with My Smart Hands

My Smart Hands™ Level I
These classes are 8 weeks in length. You will learn over 100 signs to use with your child. These sessions allow for more review, discussions, songs and practice of signs. Classes are 45 minutes in length and are created for parents/ caregivers and babies. In a playful, educational and language-rich environment, caregivers and children will build their American Sign Language (ASL) vocabulary through instruction, interactive games and songs. You will learn recommended first signs; we will discuss the benefits of using ASL with infants and demonstrate easy techniques for successfully integrating signs into everyday life. Some of the ASL vocabulary covered for this age group includes: everyday words, family, food, animals, emotions, opposites, bed time and play signs.

Cost: $100.00 for the 8 weeks + $30.00 for a full-color curriculum and bonus 15 song CD. Deposit of $50.00 required at registration to hold your space.
